Event Overview
The 2026 IMG Academy National Classic will be played over two weekends: the Academies Division from March 12 - March 26, 2026 and the High School Division from March 23 - March 26, 2026. The event will feature:
- Pool Play with Championship & Consolation Games (4 game guarantee)
- Teams will play a single game each day, four games total and culminate with a Championship game on the final day.
- Fueling/Hydration from Gatorade – Official Sports Nutrition Sponsor of IMG Academy
- Event scouted by professional scouts and college coaches

$1200 per team
Spectators
Spectators are encouraged to pre-purchase their passes for the event.
All-Tournament Pass and Daily Pass tickets will be available to purchase online and at the Box Office during any day of the Tournament.

Teams
22 High School teams total from across the country
Players
Once a team has been accepted, each player must complete an event participation waiver, found HERE.
NCSA Coach Packet
If you are a college coach interested in attending please follow this link to register via NCSA. Coach packets will be available through NCSA.
All-Tournament Team
Coaches will be asked to nominate two (2) players at the end of the tournament to be selected to the All-Tournament team. Each player will receive an All-Tournament team medal.

As the health and safety of athletes continues to be a priority within amateur baseball, the following Pitch Smart Compliance program has been developed to assist the public in identifying the organizations that have adopted Pitch Smart guidelines and principles. IMG Academy is a fully compliant Pitch Smart Organization. The IMG Academy National Classic will adopt Pitch Smart guidelines and principles.

Trainers/Medical
Certified Athletic Trainers will be located at every field each day if there is any need of medical assistance.
Security
The event will be patrolled by IMG Academy Campus Safety personnel. Campus Safety may be reached by calling 941-739-7307 or utilizing emergency call boxes on campus.
Team Parking
Teams can park their cars/vans/buses in the main parking lot next to the IMG Academy Fieldhouse. Teams will be able to access fields and cages from this parking lot.
Concessions
Select food trucks will be available on site and open to all participants and spectators throughout the tournament. Cash and credit cards are accepted.
Official Tournament Merchandise
Official Under Armour merchandise will be available on site during the tournament at the merchandise tent located next to the main concessions.
Accommodations
The IMG Academy National Classic is not a "stay-to-play" tournament. However, teams interested in overnight accommodations can book their stay through our preferred travel provider, On Location.

IMG Academy offers drop-off and pickup services for all local Florida airports. Teams and players can schedule arranged transportation through Travel and Planning on IMG Academy’s website.

Sarasota/Bradenton Florida is conveniently located in central Florida and located near many large international airports. Make sure to book travel through one of these local airports.
