Fermin C. Torrejon

About Me

Fermin has 20+ years experience working in the education industry in Latin America and the U.S., in key business development positions at prestigious institutions. Coming from a soccer family, he played on competitive youth teams in Peru, Colombia, Italy and the U.S., before heading to LIU on a soccer scholarship and playing in the NCAA D1 tournament: Ranked #3 in National Soccer Coaches Association of America in 1986 NCAA D1 season; 2 times NEC champion; 3 times ECAC champion; and captain of the team during the last two years. After graduating, Fermin played professional soccer for a few years in Peru. Proud father of a son, pro soccer player, and three beautiful daughters, all who have followed the family soccer tradition of a passion for the sport.
