Jim Labuda

About Me:

Jim has been involved in the game of golf since he was 16 years old. He played junior events in the Northeast but his passion for the game didn't really develop until he started playing golf at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY in 1994. After graduating college in 1995 he worked for various banks and financial institutions but he never lost his passion for teaching and coaching the game of golf. In 2007 he broke away from the corporate world and started teaching and coaching on a full time basis. Jim was named the Head Womens Golf Coach at Niagara University in March of 2019 and led them to their best finish at the MAAC Conference Championships 4 weeks later. At the same time, Jim also was named the Head Mens Golf Coach at Medaille College and coached both college teams while continuing to provide teaching and coaching to his private students. In May 2021 Jim and his family relocated to Bradenton, FL to accept a position as a Golf Coach at IMG Academy.
