Jorge Gonzalez wad born in Edmonton, Canada where he grew up playing tennis. Upon graduating from high school, he moved to the United Sates to play tennis for Jefferson College and then the University of Hawaii. Jorge has been at IMG Academy since 2006. He has coached and mentored a vast number of students in helping them achieve their goals. He is very passionate about coaching and loves the game of tennis.

- (2006-2012) Head coach of competitive boys and girls group.
- Conducted clinics in various countries.
- Traveled with players to ITF and Cosat tournaments.
- (2013-2018) Head coach of the elite boys program.
- Responsible for creating one of the strongest elite boys programs in the world.
- Coached the #1 junior in the world along with many other top ITF boys.
- Coached Adrian Andreev to win the GA in Milan in 2018.
-Coached Miomir Kecmanovic into the finals of the 2016 jr. US.Open.
- Coached boys that went on to play for top Div 1. University programs: Florida, Duke, UCLA, Stanford, etc...
- (2018-present) Head Coach of elite girls program.
- Coached a group of girls that became top 25 ITF juniors.
- Coached girls that went on to play for some of the best University programs in the country: Stanford, Harvard, Duke, Georgia, etc...
- Coached Alexandra Yepifanova to the finals of the 2019 jr. US. Open.
- Coached at 3 major jr. Grand Slams: French Open, Wimbledon and US Open along with many other ITF tournaments.
