Pamela Butler

Assistant Coach

About Me:

Pamela Butler joins IMG Academy as an Assistant Boys Volleyball Coach, bringing experience across collegiate and elite club volleyball with a strong focus on student-athlete development and technical skill training.

Most recently, Butler served as an assistant coach at Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas, where she primarily served as the team’s hitting coach, overseeing the development of pin hitters and assisting with recruiting, scouting, and film analysis. During the 2024–25 season, Navarro posted a 21–13 overall record and finished 11–3 in Region XIV play. Butler also contributed to fostering a strong team culture and mentoring student-athletes on and off the court.

Butler also brings extensive club coaching experience from programs across Texas and Oklahoma. She coached 17s and 18s teams at Tejas Volleyball Club, helping guide the Tejas 17 USA team to qualifier victories at the AVC and Music City Qualifiers and a top-10 finish at the Girls USAV Nationals in the USA division. At Drive Nation, she coached the 16s age group, focusing on individualized development and advanced training. Earlier in her career, she coached boys volleyball at Kaizen Volleyball Club, helping the Boys 17 team win the Southwest Boys Tour Classic Lone Star championship and finish third at USAV Nationals.

A former standout player, Butler competed at Coffeyville Community College, where she earned two-time KJCCC All-Conference and NJCAA Region VI All-Region honors while setting school records for single-season (624) and career kills (1,138). She continued her career at Park University, helping lead the program to its first conference championship and NAIA National Tournament appearance.

Butler holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Tarleton State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Park University.
