About Me:

Rich was drafted in 1983 by the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played 18 years professionally for the Pirates, Expos, Mets, Royals, Reds, White Sox, Cubs, and A's. He also coached professionally 18 years at every level in the minor leagues with the Brewers, Red Sox, and Diamondbacks.

Rich has played baseball professionally in 5 different countries and has played in 37 of the 50 states.

In 1997, Rich was listed as the all-time ERA leader in the history of the minor leagues out of any pitcher with more than 1000 innings.

He has coached the likes of John Smoltz, Josh Beckett, Clay Buchholz, Jon Lester, Bartolo Colon.
