About Me

Sara Haefeli brings over a decade of experience as a high-impact coach, mentor, and leader in collegiate athletics. A former standout student-athlete at Seton Hall University (2011–2015), Haefeli still holds the program’s single-game home run record (3) and earned All-Big East Academic honors all four years.

Sara continued their career at Penn State University as a graduate assistant from 2017–2020, where she played a key role in driving offensive success. During the 2019 season, Penn State set a program record with 49 home runs and saw a team batting average increase of 44 points. Their work contributed to two All-Big Ten selections and multiple Academic All-Big Ten honorees. Haefeli earned a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership in 2020.

In addition to their coaching, Haefeli has worked as a Leadership Strategy Consultant since 2019, helping athletes and teams build strong foundations for success both on and off the field.

Most recently, Haefeli served as the Assistant Coach and Infield Coach at Lafayette University in 2025. Under their guidance, the program achieved its most conference wins since 2017 and raised the team batting average by 174 points. Their coaching helped produce a First Team All-Patriot League athlete, four CSC Academic All-District honors, and eleven NFCA All-American Scholar-Athletes.
