Tiana Dockery

About Me:

Coach Dockery most recently comes to IMG Academy from Cornell University, where she served as an Assistant Coach beginning in 2024. In her first season on East Hill, she helped guide the Big Red to a 14–10 overall record and an 8–6 Ivy League finish, marking the program’s best season since 2019 and earning the team its first Ivy League Tournament appearance since the tournament’s creation in 2022. That same year, the coaching staff was recognized as the 2024 Ivy League Coaching Staff of the Year.

Prior to her time at Cornell, Coach Dockery gained Division I coaching experience as a Volunteer Assistant Coach at the University of South Alabama, where she contributed to the development of a Second-Team All–Sun Belt Conference student-athlete.

As a player, Coach Dockery had a distinguished collegiate career at the University of Kansas from 2012–2015. She earned Big 12 All-Freshman Team honors and All-Big 12 Honorable Mention, while helping lead the Jayhawks to their historic NCAA Final Four appearance in 2015. Her senior class finished with a 30–3 record, the best in program history, and was later inducted into the University of Kansas Hall of Fame. Following her collegiate career, Coach Dockery competed professionally across Puerto Rico, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, and Thailand, earning top-three scoring finishes with each team she represented and helping her team capture the Finnish National Championship during the 2018–19 season.

Coach Dockery holds a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Kansas and brings a strong commitment to student-athlete development, leadership, and mentorship.
