Whitney started playing golf in Florida at age 10. When she was 11 years old she followed her golf coach to Kansas City. In Kansas Whitney played 4 years on the Women's Varsity Golf Team at Blue Valley West High School, where she won state her senior year. Once she graduated High School she went on to play 4 years at Kansas State University. Whitney was the top player on the team her Junior and Senior year. She was also awarded Big 12 Sportsperson of the year her senior year. After college Whitney became an Assistant Golf Professional at Ironhorse Golf Club. After 4 years in the golf business, Whitney decided she wanted to start competing again and went on to play on the Egglands Best Professional Golf Tour and participated in Q-School twice. Whitney has now decided to follow her true passion and that's teaching and coaching the game she loves, golf.
