IMG Academy Alumnus Making History at 2022 Beijing Olympics

Just a few years ago, Fayik Adbi was walking across the stage and tossing his cap with fellow Ascenders. Now, he's making history in Beijing as he becomes the first athlete to represent Saudi Arabia at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Abdi graduated from IMG Academy in 2016 after spending four years in Bradenton training on the soccer fields. Once recognizing his dreams were on the slopes rather than the pitch, he chose to pursue a new avenue in Utah and is now making headlines doing so.
