IMG Academy is excited to announce the appointment of Joe Eisenmann, PhD, as the Head of Strength and Conditioning. Joe comes to the Academy as a scholar-practitioner-leader with 25 years of experience in Sport Coaching and Science. He possesses a diverse skillset that includes exercise physiology, human growth, and maturation, epidemiology, talent identification, testing & assessment, data science, and strength & conditioning. Joe is a thought leader in youth athlete development and holistic/integrated sports performance.

In recent years, he has served as a youth athletic development/sports science consultant with sports performance and sport technology companies and organizations including: English Premier League, USA Football, USA Hockey, American Baseball Coaches Association, National Strength and Conditioning Association, the Cleveland Indians, Volt Athletics and Sport Performance Tracking. He was also the founding director of Spartan Performance, a sports performance training and research center working with adolescent athletes, at Michigan State University.
