A SEASON OF DOMINANCE: IMG ACADEMY FOOTBALL

The IMG Academy football program had eight alumni across two collegiate football programs in the 2023 College Football Playoff Semifinals. Three of them led the University of Michigan to victory, securing its first national championship since 1997.

HERE'S HOW IMG ACADEMY FOOTBALL DOMINATED THE 2023 FOOTBALL SEASON!

The National football team set an impressive record; finishing the season ranked inside the top-10 eight separate times with a total record of 103-7 in its first 11 seasons. In 2023, they ended their season undefeated and were voted National Champions in the NationalHSFB.com poll, triumphing over their arch-rivals, St. Francis with a 17-14 win.

Five standout student-athletes from the National football team showcased their talent in the prestigious Under Armour All-American game:

• David Stone
• Jerrick Gibson
• Santana Alo
• Ellis Robinson IV

Each student-athlete is committed to a Division I football program in 2024.

The Varsity football team clinched its first state title, securing a 42-0 victory against Specialty Fit Academy in the SSIA State Championship. The post-graduate team had a triumphant season of its own by securing the NPGAA Championship trophy for the second-consecutive year, defeating Flyght Academy with a score of 31-24. Notable individual achievements included Kevin Everheart being named Most Outstanding Offensive Player, Ty Kauserud as Most Outstanding Defensive Player, Ian Branch as Most Outstanding Special Teams Player, Lazaro Rodriguez as Most Improved Offensive Player, and Marcelo Lopez as Most Improved Defensive Player.

The 2023 season has been a testament to the exceptional talent and dedication of IMG Academy Football, setting the stage for even more significant accomplishments in the future.
