IMG Academy Lacrosse Enters a New Era with Coaching Staff Additions and Facility Enhancements

BRADENTON, Fla. (August 13, 2025) – IMG Academy, the world's leading sports education brand, announced several lacrosse program developments and staff hires ahead of the 2025-26 academic year. Under the new leadership of Director of Lacrosse Shannon O'Neil the program is taking strategic steps forward with key coaching hires, internal promotions, and infrastructure improvement, all designed to elevate the unrivaled student-athlete experience.

The National Girls Lacrosse Team welcomes new head coach Carley Adams and assistant national coach Emily Talluto to the coaching staff.

Adams brings extensive Division I coaching experience from Temple University and the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt). At Pitt, she played a vital role in developing the offense and draw units, helping the team achieve its highest shots-on-goal percentage in program history. At Temple, she contributed to a dominant season in which the Owls outpaced all opponents in points, goals, assists, shots, and draw controls.

A standout student-athlete at Arizona State University, Adams was a multi-year captain and still holds program records for goals in a season and goals in a game. Her accolades include:

• US Lacrosse Magazine & Inside Lacrosse All-American Honorable Mention (2022)
• IWLCA First Team All-Region (2021 & 2022)
• Pac-12 First Team (2021 & 2022)
• US Lacrosse Magazine National Player of the Week (2022)

Talluto comes from Vanderbilt University, where she served as an assistant coach. A former defensive standout at La Salle University. She helped lead her team to an Atlantic 10 Conference Championship. She brings a well-rounded knowledge of the game, with strengths in leadership, mentorship, and technical development across all player positions.

The Boys Lacrosse Program welcomes Callum Crawford as the new National Head Coach. A 19-year veteran of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), four-time All-Pro, and one of the league's top 10 all-time leaders in goals, assists, and points, Crawford brings elite experience and vision to IMG Academy.

Most recently, based in Oklahoma, Crawford set out to transform a developing market. As the head coach at Cascia Hall, Crawford took the team to two State Championships for one State Title. Before making the move to Cascia Hall, he also led Tulsa Alliance to two State Championship appearances and a State Title. In addition, he founded Impulse Lacrosse (now ADVNC Oklahoma) to elevate regional talent on a national level, helping more than 200 athletes reach the NCAA ranks.

The Lacrosse program also announced promotions that reinforce the continuity of its lacrosse program. Carley Kendall has been promoted to Head Regional Girls Lacrosse Coach after her impactful work as an assistant on both national and regional teams. Ali Regan steps into the newly created role of Manager, Lacrosse Operations. In this position, she will oversee game day operations, team travel, and communications, ensuring smooth and professional execution across all facets of the program.

Along with personnel changes this fall, IMG Academy unveils its fully renovated lacrosse complex, complete with in-ground shot clocks, new scoreboards, and updated signage and branding. These improvements reflect the Academy's continued investment in providing premier facilities and resources tailored to the sport.
