IMG Academy Wrestling Partners with ONEV as Official Wrestling Shoe Partner
Partnership combines performance footwear, student-athlete development and elite wrestling expertise for IMG Academy’s inaugural season
BRADENTON, Fla. (Sept. 28, 2026) –IMG Academy, the world's leading sports education brand, today announced a two-year partnership with ONEV, which will serve as the official wrestling shoe of IMG Academy Wrestling as the program prepares for its inaugural season of competition. The partnership represents an important early investment in the development of IMG Academy’s newest sport program, combining performance footwear, program support, and access to elite wrestling expertise as IMG Academy establishes its culture and prepares its student-athletes for competition.
ONEV will provide custom IMG Academy-branded wrestling shoes for IMG Academy Wrestling student-athletes throughout the two-year partnership. The partnership will also provide opportunities for ONEV co-founder, World Champion and Olympic wrestler Stevan Mićić, who joined IMG Academy Wrestling this summer as part of the IMG Academy Wrestling National Champ Camp Series, to return to campus for training sessions with IMG Academy Wrestling student-athletes, bringing his experience competing at the highest levels of the sport to the program.

Stevan’s involvement is an added benefit, allowing our student-athletes to learn from someone who has competed at the highest levels of the sport as we build our program together.”
The partnership comes as IMG Academy Wrestling enters its inaugural season under the Ascender Elite umbrella. With 24 student-athletes enrolled, the program has begun training together and establishing its culture through its first competitive experiences. IMG Academy Wrestling made its competitive debut Sept. 12-13, 2026, at the Super 32 Tournament Qualifier in Osceola, Fla., while senior Steel Meyers, a University of North Carolina commit currently ranked No. 4 nationally, represented the program at the Elite 8 Duals in Atlanta, Ga. Meyers defeated three nationally ranked top-10 opponents during the competition, highlighting an early milestone for the program in its inaugural season.
