Golf is all about visualization. On the driving range, players at every level will envision how they want to hit the ball, what their swing will look like, and where the ball should take flight. On the course, each individual will begin their round by picturing how they'll play, what they'll do at each tee, and where they intend to finish. The same visualization takes place at each level, regardless of if you're still developing at an amateur level or if you're on the PGA or LPGA tour.

Visualization in golf takes shape intangibly as well. In order to achieve greatness and to reach an elite level, players will consider their current skills and discover how they can take their game to that ultimate level.

At IMG Academy, the golf program is focused on visualization in every regard. What starts with an initial screening and analysis at the onset of the academic year or semester transitions to weekly and even daily reflections to ensure each individual understands their pathway within their individual track. Those tracks at IMG Academy set the stage for what's to come and allow student-athletes to visualize where they can take their game. From Core to Challenger to All-Star to Ascender, every student-athlete has a tangible track that represents where they currently are, where they've been, and where they're going. 

Reaching the next level isn't only about how you perform on the course within your respective track, however. When you combine mental conditioning, physical conditioning in the form of strength, stability, and power, competition, and access to some of the game's most advanced technology, you'll then understand the complete picture of what makes up an elite golfer. Perhaps the most beneficial aspect of IMG Academy's golf program is the family dynamic in a sport that's otherwise known to be solely individual. Seeing the success of your teammates and peers allows you to visualize the opportunities that lie ahead and where you'll be able to take your own game.
