IMG Academy Celebrates Over 100 Student-Athlete Commitments for Fall 2024 Signing Day

BRADENTON, Fla. (Nov. 13, 2024) - IMG Academy, the world’s leading sports education brand, announced over 100 student-athletes from its boarding school committed to collegiate sports programs on National Signing Day today.

Formerly known as National Letter of Intent (NLI) Signing Day, this day marks a milestone for student-athletes, and underscores IMG Academy’s continued commitment to developing student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically.

With a focus on academic excellence, IMG Academy had seven student-athletes announce their commitment to the admissions process for Ivy League Institutions, including:

• Abhishek Thorat – Columbia University
• Isabel Weiner – Columbia University
• Charley Goberville – Cornell University
• Logan Missett – Cornell University
• Polina Krumkachev – Harvard University
• Max Boheimer – University of Pennsylvania
• Thomas Egbert – University of Pennsylvania

For the second year in a row, over 100 IMG Academy student-athletes committed on National Signing Day, showcasing the Academy’s comprehensive approach to student-athlete development. Today’s diverse group represents colleges and universities across all NCAA divisions, as well as Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and U.S. service academies. A breakdown of commitments includes:

• 72 Division I commitments
• 2 Division II commitments
• 19 Division III commitments
• 1 Service Academy commitment
• 1 HBCU commitment
