While you may be juggling many or all of the above, IMG Academy student-athletes have the ease of knowing that they'll never be faced with the decision to prioritize one team, one commitment, or one goal over the other.
Upon enrollment, student-athletes are welcomed into an environment where course work naturally integrates within one's practice schedule, and there's dedicated time for training, refueling, sleeping, studying, college prep, and competition.
With a schedule that mirrors that of a collegiate program, IMG Academy student-athletes have the opportunity to gain experience that will set them ahead of their competition. Academics never take a backseat to athletics, and travel schedules are understood from the onset of the school year. From SAT prep to Honors and AP courses to study hall and meetings with college advisors, IMG soccer student-athletes will develop not only on the field as athletes but also in the classroom as well-rounded students.
When student-athletes train on the IMG Academy soccer fields, expert coaches with countless years of collegiate and professional experience relay their knowledge of the game to each individual, no matter their level. A pre-defined development process ensures that student-athletes understand their initial goals while having a clear, defined pathway to achieve them. Training includes key evaluation periods, competition and performance analysis, and seasonal reviews and planning periods.
With various age divisions and league options available within IMG Academy's soccer program, there's an option for each student-athlete to pursue their dreams.
For the boy's program, league options include the MLS NEXT and the USYS Sunshine Academy Conference. Recently established in 2020, MLS NEXT includes 100+ elite clubs from the US and Canada across six age groups (U13 - U19) while the Sunshine Conference Academy Division, also created this year, features a club-based league developed by US Youth Soccer for U13-U19 age divisions. The Academy Division includes former Development Academy members and other elite clubs offers who will have teams compete against each other over the course of a 10-month season. As of November, there are just over 10 teams in the Sunshine Conference Academy Division.

On the girls' side, league options vary between The Girls Academy League and the Development Player League. IMG will compete in the Southeast Conference of the DPL as well as the Girls Academy (information below.) Just recently, The Girls Academy announced a strategic relationship with the MLS and a partnership with US Youth Soccer, and, as referenced in this article, "the GA will serve as the USYS premier girls platform in conjunction with MLS (USYS Partner.)" IMG is a founding member of MLS Next and the Girls Academy, both of which differentiate our teams and student-athletes and provide them with elevated competition opportunities.
Regardless of your background or current level, IMG Academy's boys and girls soccer programs feature a team and a league option that's proven in developing next-level champions and rising stars. The program also pinpoints several showcase options for student-athletes to select from, allowing them to achieve even greater exposure to college programs throughout the year. Graduates of the program have committed to universities such as Duke, Colgate, Florida, Florida State, Rice, SMU, Southern California, Stanford, Wake Forest, and more while many others have been selected for their National teams and/or continued their career professionally in Europe, for the MLS, or with USL.
