There aren't many points in a high school student athlete's career where they can truly feel the culmination of all of their efforts come into place. Large tournaments, massive competitions, or games - those events all come and go, and the next one shortly follows. You learn from them, or you celebrate their outcomes; regardless, there's another one to look forward to.
One day, aside from Graduation, in a student-athlete's career actually allows an individual to see their hard work, their dedication, and their efforts fall into place. That day is their National Letter of Intent (NLI) Signing Day.
On November 10, 2021, student-athletes who have been working for years, often more than a decade, at their craft are able to put pen to paper as they commit to the next level. This signature solidifies that they've accomplished an incredible feat and that they intend to devote several more years to their hobby turned passion.
Today, we honor the 53 individuals who have committed to the next level and look forward to seeing what they will do next as they prepare for graduation and enrollment into their college of choice.
Congratulations to all student-athletes who signed their NLI today and to those who intend to during this signing day period.
