On May 28, 2021, IMG Academy seniors and post-graduates transitioned to a new title as they walked across the stage during the 2021 Commencement Ceremony. Now alumni of the college preparatory boarding school, 310+ student-athletes from 51 countries celebrated their classmates' and teammates' achievements during a ceremony that honored the accomplishments of this diverse yet decorated group of individuals.
From the Valedictorian and his perfect ACT score to the Saultatorian's moving speech to awards that commemorated the efforts and involvement of student-athletes who are destined for future success, IMG's Graduation ceremony was nothing short of impressive. The day wouldn't be complete without mentioning the extremely challenging moments that correlated with 2020 and the global pandemic. This group, as well as the entire IMG community, worked tirelessly to transition from spring break last year to a fully virtual delivery of academics and athletics to a safety-driven return to campus that now culminates with today's celebration.
As the stage on campus in Bradenton, FL is packed up and stored until the next event, we are certain that the future platform for IMG's graduating class knows no bounds as this special group prepares for their next steps. Please join us in congratulating the 2021 class and wishing them nothing but success in their athletic, academic, and personal journeys.
