About Me:

Shawn began to play golf at the age of 2 when his father introduced him to the game of golf. Shawn’s father played various professional golf tours in the early to mid 70’s. Shawn quickly took to the game and had success early on winning numerous junior events.

Shawn put golf aside for several years through high school as he had success in basketball, football and baseball. His passion for golf was always the primary sport he loved. Upon graduation of high school Shawn decided to pick up golf again while he attended college. He started right where he left off and then decided to turn pro and give professional golf a try. While he was pursuing his PGA Membership he competed on various professional mini tours in the Carolinas and Georgia. He was fortunate enough to secure 8 professional wins while competing.

Prior to joining IMGA he worked for other junior golf academies where he developed his passion for helping junior golfers reach their full potential. He has helped over 125 junior golfers reach the collegiate and professional ranks. He had great success helping his student athletes reach their potential and even had one of his students become the number one ranked junior golfer in the Rolex Junior Rankings.
