The IMG Academy World 7s Cup is a hybrid soccer camp and tournament experience hosted at IMG Academy. Athletes begin with four days of structured Soccer Camp training focused on technical development, tactical understanding, and competitive preparation.
At the end of the week, campers are pooled into an IMG Academy team that competes in the World 7s 7v7 tournament against visiting club teams. This format allows athletes to apply what they’ve developed throughout the week in real tournament matches within a professionally managed event environment.
The IMG Academy World 7s Cup offers athletes and families the opportunity to stay on or near campus while participating in camp week and tournament competition at IMG Academy.
The Legacy Hotel at IMG Academy is a convenient option for families seeking premium accommodations within walking distance of campus amenities and event facilities.
The World 7s Cup is a 7v7 competition built around a camp-to-competition development model.
Athletes begin with four days of IMG Academy Soccer Camp training before entering tournament play as part of an IMG Academy team.
Saturday will feature three group-stage matches.
Sunday will feature two matches, including knockout, consolation, or final-round play.
The format is designed to give players the opportunity to apply what they developed during the week in fast-paced tournament competition.
