Putting Talent to the Test on ESPN: IMG Academy Football | The Brotherhood, Episode 3

When watching a star athlete perform, it might be easy to think they just have “it.” And while an element of success may be an innate personality trait or demeanor, at IMG Academy we know that you get what you work for. The “it” factor is the “always reaching, forever striving, never satisfied” IMG mentality. 

Meet JC Latham, IMG Academy football student-athlete and class of 2021 Offensive Lineman. Given his strength, athleticism, and his size, Coach George Hegamin, IMG Offensive Line Coach and former NFL Super Bowl Champion, recognized his unlimited potential as an OL versus his previous positions of DL or DT and advised him to make the switch on day one of the season.

With a mindset that can't be shaken, this Alabama recruit understands that his time at IMG is invaluable, and he's proving his leadership day in and day out alongside J.J. McCarthy, Class of 2021 (QB) and Kamari Wilson, Class of 2022 (S). 

As the program prepared for their 2020 ESPN debut, they knew that everything they had been working towards in practice came down to this evening under the lights at Venice High School. That preparation, unwavering confidence, and Brotherhood mentality led them to the kick off for game one of the season.
