The girls basketball camps at IMG Academy teaches technical instruction, intensive drill sequences and guided game-situational play from the industry’s most proven coaches, our highly refined training methods seamlessly translate from the practice court to game competition.
How You'll Improve
AthleticismIncrease speed/agility, build explosive power, reduce chance of injury, increase endurance and aerobic capacity
TechnicalBall-handling, shooting form, rebounding, footwork, finishing skills
Mental ToughnessLearn mental toughness and discipline, build player confidence, superior focus, game preparation and improved attitude
Advanced TechniquesReading a defense, managing fast break situations, post moves (high and low), running a team as a point guard, creating your shot and helping defense
Game SituationsFloor spacing, movement off of a screen, ball penetration, 1-on-1 attacking and defense
Our basketball program is directed and managed by Shell Dailey, former player at the University of Texas and coach at multiple Division I and WNBA teams. She is assisted by several other expert coaches who offer position-specific instruction to take every player to that next level.
Current and former Division I collegiate and professional players including: Rina Hill, Natascha Hartvich, Monique Alexander, Mimmie Besnoin, Myesha Broaden, Marisa Gobuty, Briahanna Jackson, Holly Jones, Alyssa Mann, Danielle Kennebrew, Zoi Simmons, Sharielle Smith and Erica Woods
7 - 7:45am: Breakfast
12 - 1pm: Lunch
6:30 - 8pm: Optional shooting, individual work or organized gameplay

Choose a Game Changer camp for small group training that will refine specific areas of your game! Includes all elements of Total Athlete.
