Face Off at the Nation's Top Lacrosse Program

Lacrosse camps at IMG Academy is the nation’s only full-time program dedicated year-round to lacrosse, our program offers technical and tactical instruction from elite coaches in a world-class training facility. The program combines outdoor and indoor (box) training for total on-field skill development and focuses on specific areas of improvement for individual offense and defense, team strategy and special situations.

Capitalizing in transition, utilizing/breaking pressure, attacking/ defending during uneven sets, indoor (box) training strategy

Stickhandling, clearing, shot-stopping, reaction time and technique

Coaching

Led by Director, Bill Shatz, our lacrosse program consists of former professional and college players and coaches who use small-group training techniques to focus on specific areas of improvement for individual offense and defense, team strategy and special situations.

Lacrosse Facilities

Our 500-acre campus offers everything an athlete needs to succeed.

— Attendees of our lacrosse camps will have full access to 20+ multi-purpose fields, 40 foot lacrosse wall for skill development, 10,000 square-foot weight room and covered turf facility, multiple strategy rooms for video analysis.

— All of our facilities are maintained at a professional standard to ensure the perfect training environment for every athlete.

Lacrosse Camp Schedule

Morning

7 - 7:45am: Breakfast
8 - 9am: Mental or Physical Conditioning
9:15 - 11:30am: On-field, position-specific skill work
11:45 - 1pm: Lunch/Rest

Afternoon

1 - 2pm: Performance discipline for the TOTAL ATHLETE program
2:15 - 5:30pm: On-field, position-specific skill work and scrimmages
5:30 - 7pm: Dinner

Evening

7 - 10pm: Chaperoned on-campus or off-campus activities (movies/trivia/pool parties)
10pm: Sleep

is the ultimate combination of training and fun.

On-campus activities
The hub of activity in the evenings revolves around the residence halls and the junior pool area. Activities include: swimming; movies; recreation room (with video games, foosball and a pool table) and more

Off-campus activities
Campers also have the opportunity to have off-campus fun through scheduled and chaperoned day trips to destinations like local beaches, amusement parks, water parks, museums and other venues

Lacrosse Training Only

Full day of lacrosse training 

We help you progress in the area in which you feel you need the most improvement. With specialized instruction, low athlete-to-coach ratios and an encouraging learning environment, every athlete gets the level of attention required to reach their full potential!
