IMG Academy announces 2020 NFL Combine/Pre-Draft Training class

IMG Academy recently announced the latest group of collegiate athletes who are preparing to make the leap to the next level with the IMG Academy NFL Combine/Pre-Draft Training program. This year’s group includes five members of the LSU Tigers national championship squad, four IMG Academy varsity football alumni and as many as five projected first-rounders.  
 
The 2020 training group includes:

For more than two decades, top NFL Draft prospects have selected IMG Academy to prepare for the biggest test of their lives. Players have 24/7 access to world-class resources within the IMG Academy Performance and Sports Science Center, which includes a 10,000 sq. ft. weight room, cutting edge athletic training/physical therapy facilities, Mind Gym, yoga studio and more. The facilities also include an eight-lane track for speed work, multiple practice fields, wellness spa and the Legacy Hotel.  
 
In addition to position-specific training by a team of former NFL players and coaches, participants receive education and training from leading experts in the areas of speed training with Speed Development Coach Mo Wells, strength training with Head of Strength and Conditioning Jason Novak, along with mindset training, vision training, media training/personal brand building, nutrition, and athletic training/physical therapy. Top sports performance companies including Under Armour, Gatorade, CareWear, ACP, SOM Sleep, and NormaTec provide product and service support. 
 
Since 2011, the IMG Academy Combine/Pre-Draft Training program has included the likes of Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson, Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins, Minnesota Vikings QB Kirk Cousins, Arizona Cardinals RB Kenyan Drake, Tennessee Titans OL Taylor Lewan, Miami Dolphins LB Jerome Baker and Los Angeles Rams WR Josh Reynolds. 
 
Notably, this year’s class feature four alumni of the IMG Academy Varsity football program returning to campus. LSU safety Grant Delpit, Michigan QB Shea Patterson, Miami WR K.J. Osborn and South Dakota State RB Mikey Daniels all played for the Ascenders during their high school careers. During a stellar collegiate career, Delpit became the first IMG alumnus to earn a national collegiate award when he took home the 2019 Jim Thorpe Award, given to the best defensive back in the nation.
