Next-Level Track & Field Training
IMG Academy track and field camps provide in-depth instruction for all events, in addition to cross country. We offer customizable weekly and multi-week track and field camp options, and our training is perfect for males and females ages 12-18.
Track and field camps assist junior campers with improving their movement, speed, balance, concentration, power, and developing event-specific skills. Combined with our unique training concentrations, our camps allow you to customize your track and field experience and to elevate skills for your next competition.

Jean Carlos Arroyo - Coach
For the last 6 years Jean-Carlos Arroyo was the Head Track and Field coach at San Juan Sports Specialized School in the capital city of Puerto Rico. During his tenure there he worked with Middle School athletes, including 5 World Youth and Junior Championship Qualifiers.

As an official TOEFL test site, we understand the hard work and dedication needed to pass it. Athletes can prepare for TOEFL testing at IMG Academy with 5 hours of English classes/TOEFL prep classes during each week of camp.

Our day and overnight track and field camps also give youth track athletes the chance to broaden their horizons, hone skills, and learn from expert coaches. We offer special rates for track and field teams and groups who want to train together. Our sleepaway track and field camp offers youth athletes the opportunity to sleepover at Ascender Residence Halls with 24/7 access to all campus amenities and a full team of residential mentors.

What is the standard size of the track and field camp?
Since track and field has specific events within the sport and we offer coaches with specialization in those events, the youth camp experience will be highly personalized and with a low athlete-to-coach ratio.

I compete in multiple events. Can I do more than one event at camp?
Absolutely. We offer coaches with different areas of expertise and can customize the camp schedule to fit the needs of the athlete.

What talent level is best for these camps?
Our camps are specifically intended to maximize individual potential. That means we offer instruction and programming for all skill levels.

Will I be doing event-specific training or is this a general track and field camp?
All participants receive event-specific coaching and training.

Do the coaches provide a performance evaluation?
Yes. All camp participants receive a written evaluation and video of their performance for continued development.

How many campers attend a camp?
The number of campers varies by sport and time of year, with July representing our most well-attended camps. Whenever you come or whatever sport you play, you will always receive small-group training from expert coaches with ultra-personalized instruction available through our optional Breakthrough program. Please contact us for more detail based on when you are considering attending a camp.
