IMG Academy golf alumni and Washington Husky sophomore, Cheng-Tsung Pan, is ranked No. 1 in NCAA men’s golf. After an All-American freshman year, Pan is set to take it to the next level. Less than halfway through the season, Pan’s finishes include: 1st place at the Kikkor Golf Husky Invitational; 2nd at the Ping/Golfweek Preview; 3rd at the Pac-12 Preview; 2nd at the U.S. Collegiate Championship; and 2nd at the Asian Amateur Tour.
Cheng-Tsung Pan came to IMG Academy from Chinese Taipei, and spent four years with the golf program. Coached by David Whelan, Pan committed to play for the Washington Huskies golf program as a member of the class of 2011. In his freshman year, Pan was first team All-Pac-12, among the five-man NGCA All-Freshman Team, second-team PING All-American in 2012 and Third Team All-American by Golfweek.
