Sloan Johnson
Mental Performance and Leadership Coach

Sloan, CMPC, builds confident athletes who perform through change. Sloan Johnson is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant driven by a simple but powerful purpose: helping athletes understand how their brain and body work together at their best. With a master’s degree in applied exercise and sport psychology and training from the University of North Carolina system, Sloan brings both scientific depth and real-world application to every athlete she coaches. Her passion shows up most when athletes begin to trust themselves, competing with confidence, playing with joy, and stepping into leadership roles on their teams. Sloan is especially effective with athletes in key moments of their careers, whether that’s moving up a level, returning from injury, changing teams, or managing the unique demands of their body, including the menstrual cycle. She understands these are often the moments where mental performance matters most. One of Sloan’s defining career milestones was earning her CMPC certification through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, a credential that reflects years of rigorous training and applied experience. She has also taken the stage as a keynote speaker with Exos, presenting on psychological safety within teams, and has represented IMG Academy internationally, speaking to student-athletes across the globe. But the moments that matter most to Sloan are the ones that happen long after the sessions end. One athlete returned a year later to share they were pursuing a future in psychology because of the impact mental performance training had on their life. That kind of lasting influence is what fuels her work every day. A former competitive cheerleader of 10 years, Sloan won a world championship in ninth grade and competed internationally while studying abroad at King’s College London. That experience shaped her understanding of high-performance environments and continues to inform her coaching today. If you are an athlete looking to build confidence, perform with clarity, and better understand how your mind and body work together, Sloan Johnson is ready to help you unlock that connection.

Derek Marr
Mental Performance Coach

Derek Marr found his calling in the space between physical preparation and peak performance, the mental gap where championships are won or lost. Mentored early in his career by a World Coach of the Year and coaches who went on to win 18 national titles, Derek was shaped by excellence from the start. His approach to every athlete is individual: rather than working best with one type of competitor, Derek genuinely invests in understanding each athlete's sport, goals, and mind before developing a strategy. His most meaningful professional achievement came when his former college coach, so respected that the national Coach of the Year award bears his name, reached out to Derek for mental performance support, a full-circle moment that validated years of dedication to the craft. Derek has also been part of a landmark research study on the psychosocial performance factors of Olympic medalists, led by his mentor Rick McGuire. He has supported more than three NCAA national champions and built deep, lasting relationships with athletes who credit his coaching as transformative. One of his most vivid coaching memories is an athlete at the NCAA Championships sharing that a single mental strategy Derek taught had made the difference in that race. Derek's coaching is research-informed, athlete-centered, and profoundly practical. If you are ready to close the gap between what you are physically capable of and how you actually compete, Derek Marr knows exactly how to help you get there.

Jeanne Hendricks
Performance Dietitian

Jeanne Hendricks is a Board Certified Sports Dietitian who has spent 16 years helping athletes at every level figure out the piece their training plan was always missing: nutrition that actually works in real life. As a former Division I athlete, Jeanne competed without proper sports nutrition guidance and remembers vividly feeling drained and unlike herself, not understanding why her body was not keeping up. That experience turned into a lifelong commitment to making sure athletes she coaches never have to learn nutrition the hard way. In addition to her clinical expertise, requiring 2,000 hours of sports-specific dietetics practice beyond her RD credential and a board exam, Jeanne is known for her ability to connect with people. She delivers in-home visits, live workshops, and community presentations, meeting athletes where they live and train rather than waiting for them to come to a clinical setting. She works best with student-athletes and families navigating the demands of a busy life, helping them build practical, sustainable fueling strategies that fit their schedule, not an idealized version of it. As an athlete mom herself, Jeanne understands the real-world complexity of trying to fuel performance alongside school, practice, and everything else competing for an athlete's attention. If you want a coach who combines clinical excellence with genuine human connection, Jeanne Hendricks delivers both.
