About your experts

Rachel Hoeft-Oddo has rebuilt herself four times. Three ACL tears and a meniscus injury ended her soccer career early, not from physical inability but from a mental obstacle that replaced the enjoyment of sport with the fear of reinjury. That experience is at the core of everything she does as a mental performance coach. Rachel is one of only three coaches remaining from the original IMG Academy cohort, a testament to her longevity, effectiveness, and the lasting trust she builds with athletes, including 4 IMGA+ athletes who have each been working with her for nearly 4 years. Her impact ranges from helping an 8-year-old athlete go from self-doubt to competing two levels above her age group in five months, to supporting a high school basketball player who was ready to quit, ultimately earning a full scholarship to her dream school. She also currently serves as the Mental Performance Coach for the Portland Thorns of the NWSL. Rachel connects with athletes who know they are capable of achieving something great and just need the right tools to overcome the obstacle in front of them. Mental strength comes not from being perfect and positive at all times, but from taking positive action no matter the challenge. Her coaching is honest, human, and deeply invested. If you want a coach who has faced the worst of what sport can take from you and come back stronger, Rachel Hoeft-Oddo is the coach who will help you do the same.

Jeanne Hendricks is a Board Certified Sports Dietitian who has spent 16 years helping athletes at every level figure out the piece their training plan was always missing: nutrition that actually works in real life. As a former Division I athlete, Jeanne competed without proper sports nutrition guidance and remembers vividly feeling drained and unlike herself, not understanding why her body was not keeping up. That experience turned into a lifelong commitment to making sure athletes she coaches never have to learn nutrition the hard way. In addition to her clinical expertise, requiring 2,000 hours of sports-specific dietetics practice beyond her RD credential and a board exam, Jeanne is known for her ability to connect with people. She delivers in-home visits, live workshops, and community presentations, meeting athletes where they live and train rather than waiting for them to come to a clinical setting. She works best with student-athletes and families navigating the demands of a busy life, helping them build practical, sustainable fueling strategies that fit their schedule, not an idealized version of it. As an athlete mom herself, Jeanne understands the real-world complexity of trying to fuel performance alongside school, practice, and everything else competing for an athlete's attention. If you want a coach who combines clinical excellence with genuine human connection, Jeanne Hendricks delivers both.
