The IMG Academy campus has been deemed safe for full operations beginning tomorrow, including in-person learning and sport and APD delivery. Because we are still in hurricane operations, we do not have the adequate staff to accommodate check-ins or arrivals this afternoon. We will open the gates beginning at 6 a.m. Student check-in for families who have not yet checked in will take place noon – 5 p.m. in the Academic Center. Any additional updates will be shared via the Parent Relations email.

Hurricane Idalia Update – AUG. 29 (11 P.M.)
Hurricane Idalia continues to move north through the Gulf of Mexico and is now northwest of Bradenton. With the eye of Idalia more than 150 miles off the coast we are occasionally experiencing the outermost bands of the storm, which include heavy rain and winds approaching tropical storm speeds. We expect much of the same throughout the evening before the storm clears out of the area tomorrow morning. Our students have experienced a relatively normal evening in the dorms with dinner, activities, and relaxation. We have completed final head counts and bed checks and students are in their rooms preparing to sleep.
The next update will be at 5 A.M.

In the dorms, dinner service is complete, and student-athletes are settling in. Activities in the dorms include a movie night and board games before bed at 10:30 p.m. We will provide one additional update tonight at 11 p.m.
Morning updates will begin at 5 A.M.
