Football Training Facilities

Junior campers of our football training programs will have access to our state-of-the-art stadium, our Fieldhouse - complete with pro-style locker rooms and meeting space for film review, more than 20 multi-sport fields and our 65,000 square-foot Performance Center with a 12,000 square-foot weight room. All of our football training facilities are maintained at a professional standard to ensure the perfect training environment for every athlete.

Year-Round Football Camps

Most football players have a lot of downtime. In general, the high school season lasts about four months. This is why athletes who work hard in the off-season have an edge over players who don’t. IMG Academy’s summer football camp gives young athletes the chance to become faster, stronger, and elevate their game.

We offer day and overnight football camp options throughout the year as well as special pricing for groups or teams that want to train together. Our overnight summer football camp gives youth athletes the chance to sleepover in Ascender Residence Halls with access to campus amenities 24 hours a day.

About Our Very Important Athlete Program

At IMG Academy, we are dedicated to providing all athletes, especially our younger ones, an atmosphere rich in personal development ensuring future success. At no additional cost - The V.I.A. (Very Important Athlete) program aims to create a fun & memorable camp experience for younger athletes. Campers 10 and younger will take part in age-appropriate activities complimentary to their camp schedules delivered by responsible and energetic chaperones. V.I.A. campers will have a unique camp experience creating memories and life-long skills. 11 year old campers are eligible for the V.I.A. program upon special request.


Football Camps

  • Do I need to bring my helmet and shoulder pads?

    No. Our football camps are actually non-contact. We’re focused on developing youth athletes from a fundamental and technical standpoint. You will only need to bring football cleats for the on-field sessions. 

  • I play two positions. Do I have to train at one position while at camp?

    Our camps are set up to enable you to train at both positions while attending camp. During a week of camp, we have ten on-field training sessions: Five in the morning and five in the afternoon. If you would like to train for multiple positions, we can certainly accommodate that. 

  • Do your camps incorporate any type of weight-lifting?

    Yes, the strength & conditioning aspect is an important component to our camp model. Depending on the camp level you select (Core, Total Athlete or Game Changer), you will get varying levels of Performance training, including strength, speed, mental, nutrition and other elements.

  • Will I be able to compete against other campers?

    Absolutely. While the emphasis of our camp will be personalized, position-specific training, we do include opportunities for the campers to compete against one another in 1-on-1 drills and 7-on-7 games. 

  • Do you offer 1-on-1 private lessons?

    Yes, but private lessons are only offered as add-ons to campers with an existing camp reservation. We also offer Game Changer for each camp, which is 1-on-1 or small-group training that is customized and offers the ultimate camp experience.

  • What does a typical day look like at an IMG Academy football camp?

    7:00AM - 8:00AM - Breakfast

    8:30AM - 10:00AM - On-field, position-specific skill work and classroom training

    10:30AM - 11:30AM - Physical Conditioning in weight room

    12:00PM - 1:30PM - Lunch/Rest

    2:00PM - 3:30PM - Scrimmages & classroom training

    4:00PM - 5:00PM - Performance discipline for TOTAL ATHLETE program.

    5:00PM - 7:30PM - Dinner

    7:00PM - 10:00PM - Chaperoned on-campus or off-campus activities (movies/trivia/pool parties)

    10:00PM - Sleep

  • How many campers attend a camp?

    The number of campers varies by sport and time of year, with July representing our most well-attended camps. Whenever you come or whatever sport you play, you will always receive small-group training from expert coaches with ultra-personalized instruction available through our optional Game Changer program.
